Will Jeffords has spent more than 35 years building a career in insurance and financial services, serving clients throughout the Triangle area and across North and South Carolina.

Will began his career in 1990 as an Exclusive Agent with Allstate Insurance, building the Will Jeffords Agency into a trusted resource for individuals and families over more than two decades. He later partnered at Southeast Financial Property & Casualty, LLC, broadening his focus to home, auto, boat, vacation home, and business coverage.

In 2019, Will founded Covington Insurance, LLC — an independent agency and brokerage built on a simple idea: clients deserve access to the best carriers and products at competitive prices, backed by an agent who knows the industry inside and out. Licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, Will and his team specialize in auto, homeowners, recreational vehicle (motorcycle, boat, RV, ATV), property, business, and liability insurance, as well as surety bonds.

Will holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from The Citadel (Class of 1986), where he was a member of the Summerall Guards.

Jamie believes service doesn't end when you take off the uniform. An Army veteran and Citadel graduate, he has built his insurance career on the same pillars that guided him in uniform — Honor, Duty, and Respect. His mission is simple: translate complex risk into clear, actionable strategies that protect what his clients have worked hardest to build.

Coastal property is its own market. Wind and hail often come off the homeowners policy, flood is a separate placement entirely, and a short-term rental is not the same risk as a primary residence. Jamie builds those layers so owners of beach homes, condos, and rental portfolios are never left guessing what is actually covered when a storm turns.

Before joining Covington, Jamie spent nearly five years as a commercial and personal lines producer at CWS Insurance Agency, and nine years running his own company, Cape Fear Merchant Solutions — firsthand insight into the challenges business owners face. He holds a BA in Mathematics from The Citadel, where he played four years of varsity soccer and was a member of Sigma Delta Psi and the Cordell Airborne Rangers.

Beyond insurance, Jamie has served for over 16 years as Board President of Providence Home, a Brunswick County youth emergency shelter — the same commitment to community he brings to every client he protects.
